Birth Doula Services

 

Once you hire Ingrid as your doula, she will provide empathetic support throughout your pregnancy and birth.  I employ water, massage, Rebozo, accupressure, and more to make your birth more comfortable and enjoyable.

Basic Package

• One prenatal visit (1.5 hours) in your home where we will:

  • Get to know each other

  • Go over your birth preferences

  • Discuss how to make informed decisions during labor

• Support throughout your pregnancy by phone, email, and text

• On-call 24/7 to attend your birth for four weeks surrounding your due date (two weeks before to two weeks after)

• Customized physical and emotional support throughout your labor and birth​

• Assistance with initial breastfeeding

• One postpartum visit in your home

• Referrals for local providers and resources as appropriate

Fee: $750

 

 

 

Deluxe Package

• Two prenatal visits (1.5 hours each) in your home where we will:

  • Get to know each other

  • Go over your birth preferences

  • Discuss how to make informed decisions during labor

  • Practice coping techniques and positions for labor and birth

• Support throughout your pregnancy by phone, email, and text

• On-call 24/7 to attend your birth for five weeks surrounding your due date (three weeks before to two weeks after)

• Customized physical and emotional support throughout your labor and birth​

• Assistance with initial breastfeeding

• One postpartum visit in your home

• Referrals for local providers and resources as appropriate

Fee: $900

 

 

 

Service Area

Ingrid attends births in a 10-mile radius of Belmont, MA. She will also attend births up 50-miles away from Belmont, MA, for an additional fee. Contact Ingrid or schedule a free initial consultation for details.

 

Birth Center and Hospital Births

Ingrid loves attending births, and will work at any hospital within her service area (see above). She has attended births at several local hospitals including:

• Mt. Auburn Hospital

• MGH

• Newton Wellesley Hospital
